Pharmacy and Alchemy Museum

The Slovenian Pharmacy and Alchemy Museum offers visitors an insight into the past two millennia of world pharmacy, with a special focus on its development on Slovenian territory. It contains more than 2,000 items: equipment from 18th and 19th century pharmacies, a collection of Italian and Spanish alborels - decorated ceramic containers for storing medicines, a pharmacy and alchemical laboratory, a collection of mortars from the 12th to 19th centuries. centuries, scales and weights. The collection also includes 30 pharmaceutical books published between the 15th and 19th centuries, as well as an ethnological collection of folk medicine in our territory.
